As I teased in the last blog post, as soon as I finished my 8"x10" watercolor tilted "Pattern Nicole in Blue" I moved right on to the other paper I'd prepped - "Pattern Nora in Brown."
Like the last painting, the pattern for this one was created digitally by me in Adobe Illustrator software, then printed out, traced onto watercolor paper with pencil, and then painted with Daniel Smith brand watercolor paints.
I chose a monochromatic orangey-brown color scheme for this painting, using only two tubes of paint.
