I went on a Mediterranean cruise with my husband's family in 2010 and one of our stops was southern Italy. We went on a boat excursion along the Amalfi coast so we could see the seaside cities of Amalfi, Salerno, and Positano. Here are my favorite photos I took from that afternoon:
As always, I keep these around (organized on my computer) with the hopes that some day I'll get around to making more travel-themed watercolors (as I did for the 2009 symposium at Eastern Michigan University). I've been mostly focused on patterns and flowers lately, but eventually I'll get around to using these photos as source material for future artwork.
