If You Seek a Patterned Peninsula

Through my Etsy store, you can find a small three-painting series of the outline of Michigan (both peninsulas), depicted with some of the patterns I've designed. I think they would look great separately or together (in a row or in a column) on a wall.

These are all available for purchase through my Etsy shop! (Click on the links below to go to individual pages.)

These will all be at the Paint Creek Center for the Arts Holiday Art Market in downtown Rochester from Nov 14 - Dec 23, 2015. Any that are not sold will be relisted on my Etsy shop, but for the span of the show I'm deactivating the Etsy listings, so if you try the link and it doesn't work - that's why!

"If You Seek a Patterned Peninsula: Michigan in Violet" -

"If You Seek a Patterned Peninsula: Michigan in Pink" -

"If You Seek a Patterned Peninsula: Michigan in Gold" -

The names of these paintings refers to Michigan's state motto: "If You Seek a Pleasant Peninsula, Look About You." (My husband always jokes that the motto should be: "If You Seek a Pleasant Peninsula - We Have Two!")

These 8"x10" paintings were created by digitally "cropping" patterns I created in Adobe Illustrator to fit the shape of Michigan. The gold painting uses metallic watercolor paint, so it has a bit of shine to it!

Here are all three watercolors shown together -

These would make great holiday gifts for the Michiganders on your list! Check out all of my Michigan-themed artwork here.

And visit the Paint Creek Center for the Arts Holiday Art Market! The opening is Saturday, Nov 14 from 5 - 8:30 pm, and the show will be up until Dec. 23 - great for purchasing last minute holiday gifts.

Each of these watercolors goes for $49 (+ tax) and includes an 11"x14" white Crescent mat and mat backing suitable for framing.
